Winter Time...

We have been having such a good time with our winter themes.  We have created a snowstorm by splattering white paint on black paper, the children had so much fun creating this. We are counting snowflakes, snowballs and snowmen.  We have several mobile's hanging from our classroom ceiling with pretty snowflakes that we painted with glitter, and we are adding snowmen this week to our mobiles. We are reading all sorts of books that pertain to our theme like A Silly Snowy Day, and Clifford's First Snow Day.

These are snowmen we made from item's in our creative bin

About Me

I am a mother of four children and I have been in the childcare field for 8 years. I live in a quite subdivision in Holly Springs, NC.  My home is nestled amongst many trees and wonderful places to expore and play. I have been a preschool and toddler teacher for many years and I have experience with children of all ages. I have been caring for children in my home for about two years now. I have my NC Early Childhood Credentials, SIDS certification along with many other relevent preschool certifications and trainings.  I currently am seeking children that are 2.5 years and up.

What I offer:

  • A loving, friendly and safe environment
  • A preschool curriculum geared towards Kindergarten preparation
  • Low ratios (more one-on-one for your child)
  • Because of my low ratios I offer opportunities for your child to explore the environment outside of my home (Museum trips, Story time at the Library, childrens events, etc)
  • We make trips to Childrens Paradise, another small-in home daycare here in Holly Springs.  Childrens Paradise is a preschool with children 2+ years as well.  This is a great opportunity for enhancing the childrens social interactions which is very important. We are both separate providers, but with the same values and goals for the children. We have a fantastic relationship that makes this arrangement so incredibly unique to any other childcare situation.
  •  We also use each other as back-up so in case there is a sick day, emergency, or we have appointments we help each other out! This is a nice arrangement since she develops a relationship with my families, and I develop one with hers.
  • I include a healthy breakfast, lunch and two snacks
  • A daily log of what your child did.
